At Compass for Kids, we strive to support you in many ways as you join our team as a volunteer. We look forward to working with you to enhance the lives of our students!
Weekly Volunteer Opportunities
Classroom Leader
Lead one of our three classrooms at Club Compass
Teach the social-emotional curriculum topic
Manage the classroom, lead our positive behavior incentive program and keep the class on schedule
Classroom Mentor
Assist classroom leader in one of our three age groups
Assist leader with social-emotional curriculum topics, classroom management and our positive behavior incentive program
Dinner Helper
Set up for snack, clean up after snack
Set up for dinner, clean up after dinner
Wash dishes and tables at end of evening
Help coordinate schedule for snacks, dinner and dessert
Other Volunteer Opportunities
Teach a Life Skills Class
Demonstrate one of your hobbies or life skills to 10-15 students, from art, music, sports, baking, workworking, karate, community service project and much more!

Once you complete your volunteer application, we conduct a background check. Each of our volunteers attends a Volunteer Orientation, and then you can get started at one of our sites in making a difference in our students’ lives!
